We don’t use tracking cookies or sell your information. This page lists what we collect and why.
Who we are
MayorDesigns is a creative and digital hub in Greater Accra, Ghana. Below we set out what we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. If you have questions, email info@mayordesigns.com.
What we collect
When you send a brief. The Start a project form asks for your name, your business, what you need, your budget and timing, and a phone number or email address. When you press send, the brief opens in WhatsApp or your email app so you can send it to us yourself. We also keep a copy so the team can reply and follow up.
When you apply to join the hub. The Join the hub form asks for your name, what you do, a link to your work, where you're based, and a WhatsApp number or email address. We keep it with our enquiries so the team can get back to you when a project fits.
To stop spam. When you send either form or open a page, we count how often your connection has done so, to turn away scripts that send hundreds. For that we keep a scrambled code made from your connection's address (we don't keep the address itself) and delete it after about a day.
When you contact us directly. If you message us on WhatsApp, call or email, we receive whatever you send.
When you visit. We count visits to learn which pages help people. We record the page, the site that sent you, your country, and your type of device and browser. We don't store your IP address or use cookies to follow you. We count each visitor with a code that changes every day and that we can't trace back to you. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we don't count you.
Cookies
We set no cookies for visitors. If you pick Full or Reduced motion, your browser keeps that choice on your device and doesn't send it to us. The admin area our team uses sets one cookie to keep staff signed in.
How we use it
We use it to reply to you, prepare quotes, do the work you ask for and improve this website. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- WhatsApp (Meta) or your email provider, when you choose to send us a brief or message that way. Their own privacy policies apply.
- The company that hosts our website and database, which stores it for us.
- The people on our team working on your project, who see only what they need.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries while we're working with you and for up to two years after we last spoke, then delete them. Visit counts hold no personal details.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email info@mayordesigns.com and we'll take care of it. You can also complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
